Those who wish to address the City Council have two options - (1) Speak during "Open Forum" during a 1st or 3rd Monday (6pm) regular Council meeting, or (2) Contact the City Secretary in writing (email@example.com) to briefly explain your request to address the Council as an "Appointment Item." Please ensure that you receive confirmation of your request, or call (972) 772-6406 to follow-up.

City of Rockwall annually calls a municipal election to be held in May on State-prescribed Uniform Election dates (currently the 1st Saturday in May) for the purpose of electing City Council members. Other elections, such as Bond Elections and/or Charter Amendment Elections, may be held in either May or November on Uniform Election dates.
