Roadway and Water / Wastewater Impact Fee Studies
On April 21, 2008 the City Council approved Ordinance No. 08-21 which established the City’s Roadway Impact Fee program. On June 2, 2008 the City Council also approved amended impact fees for water and wastewater facilities via Ordinance No. 08-26. The Council’s approval of each study followed the recommendations of the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC), who worked with city staff and consultants on the impact fee program for these facilities in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code.
The revised Subdivision Regulations can be downloaded in “Departmental Links” below and includes the adopted impact fee requirements.
New “eTrakit” System
The City of Rockwall has launched its new “eTrakit” website which offers citizens and registered contractors access to the City’s tracking program for building permits, planning/engineering projects and code enforcement cases. Citizens can also search the City’s growing database of registered contractors. Additional search capabilities and enhancements are planned in the near future, including online inspection requests.
