Lake Rockwall Estates
On February 6, 2006, the City Council approved via Resolution 06-07 an amended Annexation Plan, specifically to annex the area commonly known as Lake Rockwall Estates, or Happy Country Homes. In accordance with State Law, affected property owners have been notified and the City continues to compile the . This document includes the City's request letter to public and private service providers, the list of providers the request was mailed to, and all responses received by the City as of September 22, 2006. The City Council has initiated annexation proceedings on 162.88-acres located along the south side of Clem Road east of FM 1141 and west of FM 549, and contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of Rockwall. Notices have been mailed to affected property owners in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, and public hearings will be held in September. More information will be posted on this site as it becomes available and as required by state law.
