On behalf of the residents of Rockwall, the Rockwall City Council, and City
Staff, I welcome you to the web site of one of the fastest growing cities in the
Dallas Metroplex.
Rockwall was founded in 1854 and is the County Seat of Rockwall
County. Rockwall is approximately 22 miles east of downtown Dallas on
Interstate 30 with a population of just over 31,000.

The purpose of the government of the City of Rockwall is to provide responsible leadership and the services and infrastructure necessary for a safe environment and a high quality of life for our citizens.

Council Meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at, 385 S. Goliad, Council Chambers.
