  • Landscape irrigation accounts for as much as 40% of the total water use in urban areas of Texas.We use enough plastic wrap to wrap all of Texas every year.
  • On average, 75% of the electric usage to power electronics is consumed when the products are turned off.
  • Of all household appliances, refrigerators consume the most electricity - accounting for 9% of an average home’s total energy consumption. Keep your refrigerator’s thermostat set between 37 and 40 degrees. Also, when buying a new refrigerator, make it an energy efficient Energy Star Model.
