Downtown Water and Wastewater Improvements
The City of Rockwall will be making water and wastewater improvements in and around the Downtown area. The project will reconstruct the water and sanitary sewer facilities in the area. The project will also include providing additional water volume for future sprinkler systems for existing buildings. The consulting firm of Turner, Collie and Braden, Inc. (TCB) will be providing construction management and coordination services for this project.

Construction time for the project is approximately 270 calendar days. Construction is scheduled to begin after the first of the year (in an effort to not impact the holiday shopping season). A tentative phasing and construction schedule can be viewed by clicking here. As indicated in the schedule, each phase will be limited to the smallest areas practical and construction will be substantially completed before the next phase begins. Some phases will involve minimal roadway disruption.
